Christmas Cards

Hello,
Today I have some Christmas inspiration to share for the 14 Craft Bar blog.
I am part of a FaceBook group and decided to take part in a swap that was organised by the group creator so I had to make 5 cards to send to 5 other members of the group. I wanted to create the 5 cards using the same materials and elements but still have the cards different and I think I did achieve that. Here are my 5 creations with my Foamiran Poinsettia and Foamiran Holly.

You can visit the 14 Craft Bar blog by clicking the photo below to find out what I used to make my Holly & Poinsettia.

14 Craft Bar Inspiration.

Today I have a card with some easy and simple Foamiran flowers.
I have a tutorial for these flowers recorded and just have to edit it but in the meantime if you haven't seen the tutorials from the other DT ladies hop on over to the blog now to have a look at the great tutorials on using the all new 14 Craft Bar flower making stencils.

I used a stencil for the background on this card with some modeling paste and some iridescent medium and then added some color using Jane Davenport and Prima watercolors.

The chipboards are from a huge selection in the 14 Craft Bar store and make sure to check in regularly as Agnes is constantly adding to the store.

The butterflies and feather were part of a set coming soon to the store and I stamped them and then fussy cut them before using the watercolors to color them.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to the monthly challenge over on the blog where the theme is ..... Anything Goes!!!!!

14 Craft Bar Inspiration #Halloween

Hello and welcome this Halloween, today over on the 14 Craft Bar Inspiration Blog there is a group post where myself and some of the other talented DT ladies had to create some flowers for a Halloween theme. My daughter has decided that this year she would like to dress up as a spooky ventriloquists dummy so I decided to try make a hat for her and this is what I came up with.

The hat was printed and cut using the Silhouette Cameo, attached to a hairband from 14 Craft Bar and then I decorated it using mostly 14 Craft Bar products and a few bits from my stash.

In the photos above and below you can see the flowers I made using the exclusive 14 Craft Bar Stencil 03, you can also see the plastic leaf spray that I sprayed with a spray adhesive and then coated with purple glitter.

I also used my Silhouette Cameo to cut these feathers from black Foamiran and I am quite pleased with how they turned out.

You can click the photo below to visit the inspiration blog to see what beautiful creations my team mates have come up with.

Mixed Media Notebook.

I recently gave up smoking (had my last on Sunday the 24th of September at 11pm!!!) and in order to try keep myself busy when I'm not running around after the little people I have been trying my hand at mixed media. Another benefit to quitting my disgusting habit is having more money to build up my supplies woohoo!
I was asked to make a Tiffany style box card recently for a sister who was turnning 50 and had been a huge help to her sister so the customer wanted a lot of photos on the card and then asked if I could make a notebook so that I could add more photos and I decided to have a little fun trying out some new to me techniques and this was the end result.

Marilyn Monroe, bingo and the Wicked Queen from Snow White!!!

I like to find out the likes of a recipient of one of my cards so that I can try to make it personal and recently I had to make cards for a mum who loved bingo and who was called Marilyn and liked Marilyn Monroe too. Once I heard Marilyn Monroe I automatically thought of those beautiful black and white prints of her but her lips are red so that is where the color scheme came from. I have wanted to make red Foamiran roses and this was the perfect opportunity to finally try the red!
This is what I came up with!

I design and cut boxes for my cards on the Silhouette Cameo and also use the Cameo to print and cut almost all of the elements on my cards!

Next up is this card that was to feature the Evil Queen from Snow White.

Again I made Foamiran roses for this card but this time I used purple Foamiran and colored the tip of the petals using a black oil pastel.
I also used the new and exclusive 14 Craft Bar stencils to create another style of flower, don't think it is an actual real flower but it is quick and easy so I think it will feature on a lot of my cards!!

I love how the red roses turned out, I may try a bigger more life sized version soon!

Tiffany Card!

So after being asked sometime last year to make a Tiffany style box card for a young lady who loved anything to do with Paris and Audrey Hepburn I never anticipated that it would be such a big hit and it is now my most requested card design. Of course I never make 2 cards the same so every time I make one I face the challenge of changing it up!!
Here are 2 I created recently and you can see that although they look alike they have been designed to the recipients taste.
Number 1

Number 2

I have decorated both with my own handmade Foamiran flowers and if you would like to find out more about creating your own flowers you can click the photo below which will bring you to the

Foamiran Hair Clip.

Hello and welcome!
Today I would like to share my inspiration for the 14 Craft Bar DT.
I am going to a wedding next week and treated myself to a beautiful navy dress and shoes to wear so I wanted to make something to wear in my hair as I never really create for myself and the navy Foamiran was perfect for what I had in mind.
As part of the accessories range in 14 Craft Bar they have these little hair combs and I wanted to give them a try and this is what I came up with.

I cut the petals on my Silhouette Cameo using the following settings
Speed - 1
Thickness - 18
Blade - 9

I then colored the tips with a white oil pastel to give a more delicate look to the flowers and then rolled and rolled and rolled. Each petal was then glued using super glue to a piece of florists wire and then I used florists tape to bind the stamens into a bunch and then added the petals.

For the greenery I again used the Silhouette Cameo to cut a 6 petal shape from green Foamiran and then using a small scissors I cut little lines into each of the petals and then rolled.

You can visit the store and pick up all sorts of gorgeous flower making goodies by clicking the photo below!
