Crafty Queens Mini Album!!

So I bit the bullet & went to the Crafty Queens September crop on Saturday night & we made a mini album! I was looking forward to crafting just for the sake of it & was rearing to go!! All of the girlies that I met there were super nice & made me feel very welcome & I even learned how some of them liked to torture their brothers & sisters as kids lol!!
This is the gorgeous album we made & I love it so so much!
WARNING
There are a LOT of photos!!

The kit that Eve put together was full of the most beautiful papers & embellishments so it was very easy to make something very beautiful!!
You can see the one Eve made here on her blog.

Wedding & Christening cards!

Just a few cards I had to do for orders!
Photobucket
This first one was a quickie because I totally forgot about it but I was happy enough with how it turned out!
Photobucket
The couple stamp is a Papermania one (I think) & I always come back to using it no matter what new stamps I might get! The background was done using a technique I learned at Jackie Mooney's Tips & Techniques class where you stamp using Versamark ink & then use a cotton pad to rub in shimmery chalks!
Photobucket
This one was done using my eCraft! I used the eCraft to cut out the bride & groom & the hearts but I also used MTC to scan the card I was using & do a pixel trace & then I was able to cut the matting layers with the eCraft too!
The papers are digital & are from Pink Petticoat
Photobucket
This one is an A4 easel card & although I thought OMG what will I do when I got the order it wasn't that hard to do!!
Photobucket
The butterfly was cut from the Fundamentals 1 SD card that came with my eCraft!

Card kit swap for August!!

So as we do every month at Jackie Mooney's workshop we had the card swap for August & the theme was Thank You! This month I got Elaine's kit & was delighted because it had blue in it & loads of bits & pieces for me to make into a card!
Photobucket
This is all the yummy stash I got from Elaine.
Photobucket
This is what I made from the fab stash

Only thing I added were some flowers from the goodie bag from Isobel!!!

ProMarker combo is
Ribbon - Mulberry, Fushia Pink & baby Pink
Pot - Sky Blue, Arctic Blue & Powder Blue

The theme for the September swap kit is
Get Well

Some great fun to help charity!!

Isobel goes to Jackie's workshops every month too & every year Isobel sells tickets for Breast Cancer Research but Isobel doesn't just sell the tickets, she comes up with fun ways of doing it while making sure there is something in it for everyone!! Last year was a raffle but this year was much more fun! We got to play bingo & it was a great giggle as Isobel called the numbers but put her own crafty spin on the number calling anyhow there was a prize for a line & then one for full house & even though I didn't win :( lol I still came away with a gift from Isobel!!
Look at what ALL of the crafters who were at Jackie's workshop came away with from the very very generous Isobel!!

A goodie bag packed so full that I couldn't get it all back in the bag!
Photobucket
Then there was this little bag full of punched out leaves, ferns, flowers & butterflies that Isobel gave out to everyone at the workshop!
The plus side to all of Isobels amazing generosity is that she raised €150 for Breast Cancer Research!!

Jackie Mooney's August 21st Workshop

I am very late posting about this workshop but that doesn't mean I enjoyed it any less than I normally do!
Once again Jackie didn't disappoint with the 6 fabulous cards she had come up with for us to do!!!
Here are the gorgeous creations!
Photobucket
I love gorjuss girl stamps & this one was such a cutie!!
Photobucket
This one is different to how Jackie done it but that is because I made a mistake & had to compromise. You can see how it should look here on Jackie's blog.
The papers on this were gorgeous.
Photobucket
Again I was too busy chit chatting & not listening to the teacher lol so I had to compromise again! You can see the way it should have looked on Jackie's blog.
Photobucket
A great card for a man & I always struggle with male themed cards but not with Jackie about I don't!!
Photobucket Photobucket
A very luxurious card this one was! Jackie is enjoying playing with her Cricut which means we get fabby new projects every month now!!
Photobucket
This was my fave (& probably everyone else who was there) because of those teenie tiny pencils made from cocktail sticks!! Isn't that just the best idea ever & then there is that Sassy Cheryl image that is just too cute!!
Looking forward to the September workshop now!!!
